What to Wear:Pantone of the Year

What to Wear

Blush pink rose quartz was named pantone color of the year. Not only is this color soft and girly but it also is great for every season! This color looks great on pale skin during the winter as well as tan skin when spring and summer come around. (If you don’t believe me just check out a couple of the stars who are wearing it this year.)

The outfit that I have styled can be worn for ones typical day to day attire. The bulky fuzzy knit sweater is from Calvin Klein. The bulkiness of the sweater is one of my favorite styles right now. Not only was blush pink rose quartz named color of the year this year but so was soft blue serenity. That is why I have paired this knit sweater with a pair of light blue distressed jeans. This color is obviously not the same shade of the soft serenity blue pantone but it falls into the same idea. With these jeans I cuffed them a couple times to make them fall just under the ankle. I did this because I have paired them with some ankle booties.Lastly to complete ones outfit I added a blush pink quilted purse from BCBG.

One Simple Change: Swap the booties for a pair of open toed heels and one has the perfect day-to-night outfit!

I swear after this post you won’t see another Valentine’s Day post till next year! Who am I kidding Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite Holliday’s to celebrate. Let’s face it, who doesn’t like getting free gifts and all dolled up for no reason!

Lauren Moline styled the perfect going out look for this Valentine’s Day. Her scandalous black leotard paired with a burgundy velvet skirt is to die for! This outfit is perfect for going out to the bars or going on a date. I styled a couple coats to go with this outfit for going out. The possibilities are endless with this ensemble.

The first coat styled is for someone who doesn’t want to wear a coat out because it’s going to hide their outfit. An easy way to fix this is to grab a shaw or what Lauren is wearing is an oversized scarf that I turned into a shaw. Something so easy and is in every women’s wardrobe.

The second coat styled is for someone who is going out and feels a little more daring. One will be sure to get all the attention in this light pink shaggy fur coat. This coat is fun and has a lot of attitude to it!

The last coat styled is for someone who is going to a fancy occasion. Lauren is rocking this oversized felt coat. Whats great about this coat is the shape. I love the box shape it’s fun because it gives personality to the outfit.

What To Wear:Date Night

What to Wear

Since Valentine’s Day is almost here I put together a little something for the perfect date night attire. Dressing up is always fun especially when you have a reason to get all dolled up! This ensemble is classy yet sophisticated but not demanding too much attention. I think that’s what makes this ensemble great for going out this Holliday. This outfit is perfect for going out to eat or  even a night out in town.

My favorite part about this outfit is the shin length pencil skirt. It looks great with almost any top especially this burgundy heart patterned blouse. Since it’s almost Valentine’s Day the heart patterned blouse is festive and fun but still giving the ensemble the sophistication that it desires. I paired this outfit with some strappy tan heels and a square clutch. Now one has the perfect date night outfit for Valentine’s Day!

One Simple Change: Add a long felt coat to this look to dress it up some more. Also, pair this look with some lipstick to give it some bold attention!

What To Wear: Polka Dots

Uncategorized

February 14th is just around the corner and I took it upon myself to style yet another Valentine’s Day outfit! Something about seeing happy relationships and couples gives me hope that my styling sense will help some fashionistas out there. This outfit is perfect for going on a lunch date with ones friends or that lucky someone! One could even wear this for class. The list of possibilities is endless.

So ladies, start off by finding a burgundy or some sort of festive Valentine’s Day color similar to mine from Charlotte Russe, a button down polka dot blouse like mine from Express, a pair of knee-highs from Forever 21, a knit beanie like mine from ASOS, and don’t forget some Converse .

One Simple Change: To transform this outfit from day to night I would change the knee-highs to a pair of black tights and get rid of the Converse for a pair of heels like these from Steve Madden. Now one has the perfect night out look!

What To Wear: Be Mine!

It’s that time of year again when everyone gets all giddily for that one special night with their significant other or even the best-friends! Don’t get me wrong I think Valentine’s Day is special and romantic but let’s not forget to show the people who matter to us how important they are daily. That’s why getting a head start on ones Valentines Day plans are key to this month & yes, that includes ones ensemble as well.

When it comes to Valentine’s Day I love to embrace the traditional red & pick that comes to mind when thinking of this special day! That is why I have styled the perfect date night attire for an evening out in the town. First, I start out by wearing a flirty skater dress that  I paired with some black patterned tights underneath it. My favorite part of this ensemble is the pink shaggy fur coat. It really brings the look together giving it a fun and flirty feel. Lastly, I grabbed a black little purse and some black heels to tie my outfit together. Don’t forget to add some bright red or pink lipstick to finish the look!
