What To Wear:Brunch

What to Wear

The best part about living in Michigan is one gets to experience all of the wonderful seasons! Spring is such an uplifting time I love seeing all the flowers bloom and the colors come back into the ensembles.Black was starting to take a toll on my fashion wardrobe. This is why I have styled a two piece set perfect for Sunday brunch. Brunch is what I personally look forward to every Sunday, next to shopping.Even though the weekend has come to an end one gets to spend their morning sipping bottomless mimosas eating great food while enjoying even better company.

I started off with a pale pink accordion pleated shin length skirt. This color is one of my favorite colors for the spring season. The top that I have styled with it is a sheer cropped blouse with a floral pattern. The sleeves have little slits in the side showing a little bit of skin. The outfit overall is very light in fabric and color. I paired some brown suede peep toe heels with the outfit and a nude clutch. Throw some light pink lipstick on and one has the perfect brunch attire!

How To Get The Look: Start off with an accordion pleated skirt similar to mine from Forever21. A sheer top similar to mine from REVOLVE. Suede heels like mine from Nasty Gal. Lastly a little clutch like mine from Avenue32.

What to Wear: Maxi Dress

What to Wear

The best part about going into spring are the maxi dresses! Maxi dresses are easy to throw on when one has little time to get ready. Not only are maxi dresses easy to throw on when getting ready but, lets be honest, they are unbelievable comfy. This is one of my favorite maxi dresses because of the beautiful tie-dyed pattern. The colors look good on any skin tone as well which is always a plus. I kept this ensemble simple going for a boho beach look. To make this outfit stand out I added an orange fringe purse which compliments the dress nicely with the purple and teal tones in the dress.

This ensemble is perfect for dinner parties or dates.  This outfit isn’t overly dressed up but one will be sure to get the attention desired by this maxi. The great thing about maxi dresses are how versatile they are. This makes them easy to fit into ones everyday lifestlye!

The back of the dress is one of my favorite parts of the garment because of the low cut. One could wear this with a denim jacket if the weather isn’t warm enough. I paired this ensemble with some teal jeweled sandals one could also wear a pair of brown wedges with the dress if they wanted to dress it up.

One Simple Change: Add turquoise bangles to dress up the attire. One could also add some rings as well!

What to Wear:All Dressed Up

What to Wear

With this crazy warm weather lately I feel obligated to do a post on spring/summer maxi dresses. I was fortunate enough to have a bronzed skin model who can pull off this stunning purple and orange maxi dress from Charlie Jade. The two colors compliment each other very nicely. This outfit is perfect for warm weather date nights. One thing I love about this outfit is one can style it as a casual dress or take the approach Shannon did and turn it into a fancy date night ensemble.

Shannon is styled in a long maxi dress like I said above from Charlie Jade. Shannon paired it with a bold gold necklace. The necklace is my favorite part of this outfit because it makes the outfit unique and stylish. As for the clutch Shannon did a nice job at keeping her outfit simple and fashionable by using an orange Michael Kors clutch.

One Simple Change: To make this ensemble more casual switch out the necklace and add a denim jacket! One now has the perfect casual outfit for any occasion.

What to Wear: Little Black Dress

What to Wear

Every woman owns a little black dress, but finding the perfect way to wear it is endless! The possibilities for dressing up or down made me feel inspired to write a post on it. So, here is my take on the little black dress.

Don’t get me wrong I love dressing up and being girly, but lets face it who has time to get ready everyday of the week! I decided to put a twist on the typical little black dress and made it into something easy and simple that everyone can enjoy for any day occasions. Very little effort is put into this ensemble which makes it perfect for days that one is feeling lazy. My favorite concept about this outfit is that one is still developing a stylish look while being comfy. That is a big plus for me when it comes to getting ready.

Get The Look: Start off by grabbing your favorite oversized flannel like mine from Forever 21, a skater black dress similar to mine from ASOS, some sheer black tights like mine from H&M, a colored beanie similar to mine from Zumiez, and lastly some Vans like mine and a satchel purse similar to mine from Nordstroms.

What To Wear: Gym Attire

What to Wear

One way to keep me motivated and going to the gym is by buying new gym clothes! As if there is no better reason to go shopping and splurging on some new leggings that, lets face it, will only be worn once at the gym and the rest for every other lazy day attire. When it comes to picking out gym attire I enjoy pieces that I can mismatch.Because, lets face it, I can’t afford to buy a new outfit every time I need motivation to hit the treadmill!

On top I went with a Nike windbreaker with a neon yellow sports bra underneath. If one doesn’t feel comfortable sporting just a sports bra throw on a simple black tank or tee-shirt. As for the leggings I thought I would spice it up by showing off these camouflage leggings also from Nike. As for my shoes I don’t like to clash so I kept it simple and wore some black Nike’s.

Get The Look: A windbreaker like mine from Nike, a neon sports bra like mine from Nike, camouflage leggings similar to mine from Macy’s, and lastly some running shoes like mine from Finish Line.
