What To Wear: Santa’s Little Helper

What to Wear

This year I didn’t get a spot on Santa’s list but, I did style the perfect outfit for running around and visiting family on this crazy wonderful day. Take a peep on how to achieve this style for ones own Holiday festivities!

Instead of the traditional dress and tights look I kept it comfy yet sharp and styled a checkered orange and blue blazer with a pair of high waisted dress slacks. Underneath the blazer I styled a grey turtleneck knit sweater. If one wanted to dress the outfit down all one has to do is take off the blazer. I kept the ensemble colors the same throughout the outfit so it was only fitting to pair orange and navy blue socks together. I find it ecstatically pleasing when I see dress socks that are shown a little bit under slacks. One of my favorite trends right now is the backpack purse, it’s so perfect for someone like me who is always running around and on the go. Not to mention it’s quite adorable with the outfit. Lastly I added some brown suede oxfords to bring this entire ensemble together.

OneSimpleChange: Swap the blazer for a fuzzy coat like this one from Macy’s and one has the perfect night out look!

Merry Christmas!

What To Wear:Frayed Jeans

What to Wear

One of my favorite looks this fall is a well frayed jean. Something about the messy & un-clean cut at the bottom of the jean makes this style so appealing to me. It’s edgy and cute at the same time depending on the desired outfit put together.

Around this time of year we start to see more velvet pieces added to collections. Velvet is one of my personal favorite fabrics for fall/winter season the texture is so pleasing and seamless. Velvet to me is a classic and effortless chic and sexy look. So for this ensemble I styled a black velvet scarf with a white and purple lace up blouse. With the frayed jeans I paired some velvet burgundy heels. The last touch I added was a fringe black purse which really brings this edgy yet chic look together.

HowToGetTheLook: Start off with a pair of jeans similar to mine from REVOLVE. A black velvet scarf  with a lace up top similar to mine from Macys. Don’t forget to grab some burgundy velvet heels like mine from Steve Madden and a fringe purse like this one from Nordstrom.

DIY: How To Use Hair Chalk

What to Wear

Check out the YouTube Video–> Here!!

I had some fun these past couple days playing with hair chalk and thought I would make a fun video on it. Hair chalk is very easy to use and washes out too! I experimented with two different color purples in these pictures giving myself a light to dark purple ombre.

With Halloween coming up I think hair chalk is a great way to add to ones costume. This is how I got experimenting with the idea! It’s also fun to change up ones look and be a bit more bold. Hope you guys enjoy the video!

What To Wear:Concert

What to Wear

There is no better time to be daring with ones ensemble then by going to a concert. Concerts and festivals are one of the best times to experiment or wear something a little more daring then usual.  I am always inspired when going to a concert because of the fashion and experience that it brings. This allows me to be more edgy with my style when putting an ensemble together.

I started out with a cut off Metallica band tee that one can get from Urban Outfitters. Any graphic tee will work though! I paired the band t-shirt with a mini cheetah skirt that one can also find at Urban Outfitters. I paired this outfit with some black suede booties that one can find similar to mine from Steve Madden. As for the purse I decided on a royal blue sequin clutch that matches the design in the Metallica band tee. I kept the jewelry simple and fun by pairing some beaded bracelets with a royal blue jersey stone choker that I made. Lastly, don’t forget to bring some shades to match ones edgy look!

One Simple Change: Add a jean jacket or leather coat to to make this ensemble perfect for any day-to-night occasion.

What To Wear:My Favorite Kind of Nudes

What to Wear

Black will never go out of style, but for this summer nude is a color we all should incorporate into our fashion wardrobes. Nude brightens up ones freshly bronzed golden tan and we even see our favorite celebrities rocking this color. This color can be easily mixed & matched or if daring one can go full on nude, the color that is…

I started off with a nude bodysuit similar to this one from American Apparel. Bodysuits are easy and comfy perfect for any occasion. I paired my bodysuit with a black leather V-lined skirt similar to this one from NastyGal. As for accessories I paired a simple black velvet choker with another choker that has some neutral tones to it. For me going out is all about comfort so to keep it simple I paired my favorite pair of Vans to this ensemble.

One Simple Change: To dress the outfit up switch out the Vans for a pair of booties like these from Steve Madden.

What To Wear: Little Jean Dress

What to Wear

One of my favorite pieces for this summer is the denim dress. This look is effortless & simple giving it a girly vibe. I also love the classic & timeless look of the off the shoulder bodysuit. This style is flirty and fun perfect for a casual summer day!

I started off with a white off the shoulders bodysuit. Bodysuits are one of my favorite pieces because they are simple and comfy. I then paired this bodysuit with a jean dress. As for the shoes I kept it casual to show off my tomboy side and stuck with some white Vans. I also styled this outfit with a black velvet choker. I like to keep outfits simple with minimal accessories at times. I think that this outfit is perfect for any occasion this summer.

One Simple Change: To dress this outfit up add a pair of heels to make this perfect for a night out.

Gladiator Sandals

What to Wear

IMG_4573What was once known for comfort and combat has taken a toll upon our fashion industry. The aggressive shin leather sandal, better known as the gladiator sandal, is perfect for this summer. Gladiator sandals can make any ensemble perfect for a night out downtown to a summer music festival.

I styled a pair of brown leather gladiator sandals with a playful patterned romper. The brown floppy hat makes this ensemble great for festivals this summer or even a day adventuring downtown markets! I decided to pair a patterned clutch with this outfit to show off the carefree fun side that one has during the summer time. This outfit is something one can wear for many different occasions one can even dress it up by adding jewelry such as a choker or some colorful rings.

One Simple Change: Switch out the patterned clutch for a black leather backpack. This will transform ones outfit into a daytime ensemble!

What To Wear: Festival

What to Wear

There is no better way to spend a summer day then at a music festival with some friends. Grooving to some funky music while staying fashionable is what summer is all about. This little ensemble I have put together is for the ultimate festival attire.

Starting at the top I have paired a fun suede fringed top with some floral daisy shorts. For the shoes I went with some sandals that wrap up giving it a gladiator look. I threw in a felt hat for some edginess. And for accessories I paired an orange jeweled bangle and  one of my favorites, the Hipanema bracelet. This bracelet does wonders for those of you who like to wear stackable bracelets all you need is one Hipanema and one has themselves the perfect stack of bracelets look. To pull this ensemble together I threw in some fun round Ray-Bans.

One Simple Change: If one prefers a night out festival ensemble swap the floral shorts for a pair of patterned disco pants! Now one has the perfect festival look for night.
